Good day, Depends on what your expectations are. NESC are the arm of 4SC where they dump the cards the don't deem fit to submit. So buyer beware, I bought a couple of lots from them and they were deceptive at best. Clear example (And my bad for not asking) Bought a lot of 60 each 1958 Topps TV Westerns, Scan showed 7-8 cards nice shape, some OC, maybe a few real nice (Later this played out, I did submit a few and got one 9 and several 8's) anyway I wasn't paying attention so my fault, when I get the lot of cards there are exactly 7 different numbers, like 10 of one number ect. They didn't mention anywhere in the listing that it was just for the numbers shown, to me this is Lying by deception, although I fess up I should of asked. But this gives you an idea of how they do business. I buy from 4SC when I need a specific graded card often but will never buy from NESC ever agin. (And thsi wasn't my isly bad experience, I had three other very bad ones as well) Neil
Actually Collect Non Sport, but am just so full of myself I post all over the place !!!!!!!
Not recommended. Card condition is often overgraded, and if it's raw here, there's a reason for that.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
If you look at the auction it's very blatent that the gem graded larry bird is trimmed the boarders are barely there. Now can anyone explain why they would want to purchase this?
Bought a set once and then never again. It's bad that they think they can pull a fast one with the different name. Would've been alright if they just called it 4SC_Raw or something instead of "branding" it differently to try and confuse the buyer. Tsk tsk.
A lot more folks collect ungraded cards than collect graded.
Most people aren't as fussy as we are. I remember winning a 1967 Bob Hayes card off eBay about 10 years ago when I was just getting back into collecting.
I won it for like 2 bucks. Seller said it had a crease, nicked corners, and a pin hole. The seller even e-mailed me : "Did you read the description? Do you actually want this card?"
Of course I did! A card was a card to me back then regardless of condition! Ahh for simpler times ...

"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

Wow...
Maybe NESC should be called 4 not-so-sharp corners?
I used to buy vintage lots - I always found them to be overgraded.
