Is this Ryan rookie trimmed??

Just getting opinions on whether this Ryan rookie is trimmed or not. When I put it against other 68’s, it is perfect on size and the card is square despite the optical illusions of the scans. However, the image and back are tilted as you can easily see. Is this trimmed?? I guess it doesn’t really matter as I’m just going to send it to the Ryan foundation to get another one signed and then slabbed as authentic so the card won’t be graded anyway. Just curious, please give your opinions. Thanks,

Mike

No, just a bad tilt. Ryan rookies have that a lot.

That water stain is distracting,I don't think it's trimmed.

The stain is ok with me as I knew that when I bought it, once its signed, it should present nicely and will look nice slabbed. Will PSA grade signed cards? I thought they only listed them as authentic unless they were a manufacturer produced signed card. Would this probably grade a 2 or so?

Yes,PSA will put a grade on your card after it is signed. Go to PSA's main page and click on PSA/DNA,It will give you all the details.

The card isn't trimmed - probably grade about a 2 like you say. And stains usually look worse on scans than they do to the naked eye. I've scanned some cards with very minor staining, and sometimes those stains looked horrible on the scan.

I know what you mean, if you see a tilt top and bottom, you should see one side to side, but it's probably a factory issue. I have several late 19th century cards with the same problem. Dimensionally, spot on, optically, really screwed.
