The only reason i watch the NBA for 1 day a year. All i gotta say is "DWIGHT HOWARD"!!

    wow! From his first dunk (which was spectacular) , he looked good. The one off the bounce, one hand thrown off the backboard and caught with the other hand for the slam was my favorite of the night.

    It's all proportion......scale.....whatever you want to call it. Looks impressive, but he's close to 7 feet tall. He should be able to do that. Standing straight under the basket, his hand probably reaches halfway up the net. Go outside to your basketball hoop, lower the height so you reach halfway up the net and see what you can do. It's like an average sized guy dunking on a 7 foot rim!!

    We used to have our own version of the Slam Dunk Competition growing up as a kid. The only difference is that we lowered the rim to 8'. What a blast!

    Yea....its kinda interesting, but like "stevek" says.....with a pogo stick....


    I have always felt they overrate the dunk these days. I mean, come on folks....

    Most of the guys in the NBA are 6'5" or taller.....shouldn't that alone make it easy to dunk ?

    I noted everyone forgot the DR !
