1990 Score Martin Brodeur?

I got a case of 1990 Score Hockey (American) for next to nothing. I figured I would tear through a box real fast to see if there where any Martin Brodeur rookies in there. I didn't find one. That was by far the most boring box I have ever opened. I was just curious if any knew how many you can usually pull from a case.

    Thanks man.
  • so you got 19 boxes left in the case?
figure youll get 15 of them lol. maybe 25...depends on the distribution
  • BobaFett is right. Some boxes will yield a bunch of Brodeurs and very few Jagrs. Others the exact opposite. 25-40 total is not out of the question...
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

Don't say that because your going to make me open another box. And seriously, watching paint dry would be way more exciting.

I would tend to agree but only if you shut the windows and the doors and take deep breaths.
  • that only works for me with oil based paints... latex just gives me a headache

Boy.... I bet they are real nice!

I did end up opening another box and it had 3 of them in there, 2 Jagr's and 3 Lindros, and about 750,000 different Gretzky cards.
  • I've literally gone through about 20 cases of that stuff....Canadian and American version. 20 boxes per case....400 boxes total lol...I love that stuff.

Normally, you should at least get 1 of the main rookies per box. It's very rare to not get one, but it's possible I guess. You can also yield up to 4 Brodeurs per box. It varies. If you get 3 or 4 Brodeur, and no Jagrs, that's a nice trade-off. If you get 7 Curtis Joseph, and no Brodeurs or Jagrs, then that's just a crappy box LOL.

    Have fun!

P.S. If all your Brodeurs are crap, it's better to just sell the whole bunch in one lot. I can't even get a $1 for one Brodeur (ungraded). It doesn't seem worth it for buyers....I used to sell them in lots of 50s or 100s.
