German States - Hamburg Dukat
I received this coin in the mail yesterday and just took these photos!
The coin is very proof like in hand and the photos don't capture this very well ..I tried.
You don't see this type coin very often ( Years Minted=28, total minted = 264,933, Minted in 1833=9,440).
It is the same size and weight as the Netherlands Ducat.

No ... the deal fell through by the time we communicated back and forth (europe) with me trying to get the best price I could the coin was sold.

You have to remember the State of Hamburg was basicly a city ........ one of the smallest of all the "German States" in territory and population.
