I was thinking that the Strawberry Leaf was one of the handful of pieces misssing. I think there were three Sheldons and the NCs missing from the collection.

Didn't see one at the preview. But given the quality of everything else, it's hard to complain.

To answer your question: yes, there is a school of thought that believes that the leaves and edging were engraved into each coin after they left the mint.
I myself don't believe it. I hope to be the one who finds an uncirculated specimen of this coin.
