If I wanted to know the answer to such a question, the first person I would ask is you.

When you need to know, I don't know who to ask except to suggest that you try contacting the South Korean mint, assuming that it has a public email address.

The latest Krause just lists 10 Won dates to 2004 and no mintages on any of them.

    Thank you all anyway!

I don't have the most recent Korean "redbook" so I don't know. I went to the BOK website but didn't find anything. I may be going back this summer so I will have to pick up a new book.

The 2008 Catalog of Korean Coins and Banknotes shows the 2006 mintage as 109,200,00 and the 2007 mintage as 210,000,000

Thank you, USFK. I certainly got the idea that there were less minted in 2006 than in 2007.
