Well, I do grade alot of babies and I agree, she is definitely an MS-70! I can't believe you got her picture with her eyes open--that's high quality work. She is beautiful, and sensibly sized I see imageimageimage. Happy Birthday!!!imageimage Welcome to the adventure, and yes, welcome to posting at odd hours image. Was she a C-section baby? She's pretty. The C-section ones are always prettier.

I'd offer up a coin, but I haven't got anything from 2008 yet- not so much as even a Statehood quarter or Lincoln cent from change!

Should be able to come up with 1908 and possibly 1808 and maybe even 1708, if you wanna do the '08 thing, though...

nope! that's the way she popped out. amazing my wife is only 5'2" so there wasn't alot of space, I guess she had child bearin' hips after all.

this is way too much information imageimageimage

Get a 2008 silver eagle, engrave that, and then put it in a bezel. Then you're not committing as big a numismatic heresy by "damaging" an older coin, and it's from the right year.

    that's an awesome suggestion....

I wonder if a pure silver coin would present an engraving issue.
    hmph....
  • no, the pure silver coin does not present any issues for the engraver - silver is a hard enough metal that it will engrave beautifully - and I think this is a great idea!
