Clemens throwing his wife under the bus

I hope he cleared that with her before he said what he said. He wants us to believe that yes many people around him were involved
with hgh/steroids but he was somehowabove it all ........

Also, he seemed to get some memory back and says that maybe he did attend that party with Canseco after all.......

Im sure he mentioned it to her before hand! Big deal if she did though, what difference would it make to them, she cant get into trouble? She looks awesome and ya know Roger is happy with that!

I think he would be much happier if he could get his reputation back.

I don't see how Clemens can ever be cleared in this case, especially in the court of public opinion. It's a shame.

  • CNN did a poll, who do you think is lying, Clemens or McNamee? 82% said Clemens. He's toast in the Court of Public Opinion.

I think his reputation is shattered beyond repair, the hall of fame isn't going to happen for him and I don't believe for a minute
that the HOF is not important to him as he claimed in the news conference a while back.

It has to be embarassing, humiliating and a blow to his ego, everything you worked for in baseball is going to be forgotten by
most people and your name is always going to be associated with the words "cheater, HGH and steroids".

His social circle of friends will probably shrink but others will stick with him of course. If you were in his social circle what
could you talk about? I wouldn't dare to even bring up the steroid thing and talking about baseball just in general would probably
    be ackward as well.

Most likely he should enter the private sector and walk away from baseball but it will never be completely possible as people
will always know who you are. Clemens will probably need to go into therapy at some point. The whole thing is a shame.

Why? He is lying out his ass!! You really beleive that McNamee would only lie about Clemens and not about Pettite, Knoblauch, and Debbie Clemens? McNamee's checkered past does not change the fact that Clemens most likely juiced and is corroborated by Pettite. Wake up!! Clemens should make a deal now to avoid perjury charges and salvage what is left of his reputation, but his arrogance and fat-ass ego won't let him.

I was being partially facetious by my statement. Still, it's never good for anyone who's a fan of the game, too see a star player like Roger Clemens get taken down, and I'm not a Rocket fan by any means. Somewhere, I imagine, Mike Piazza is having a good laugh, though, and at the very least, we can now say without a doubt that Greg Maddux is the greatest pitcher of his generation, hands down.
