Matte Proof Lincoln's for the week of 2/13

Nothing new on this list (if you kept track of the changes on last weeks list). I guess folks are holding their breath (and wallets) this week until the Long Beach Auction is over. That should result in a significantly shorter list for the next week. But I have been proven wrong on my predications before. So let’s just sit back and see what happens at Auction.

just wanted to add that the 1910 ngc pr62 on ebay is truly quite a coin that has upgrade written all over it as ngc blew the grade on that one

It appears the list will shrink considerably after the Long Beach Auction. Which should result in a bit more green on the PCGS price sheets, which in turn may flush more mattes out of the bushes.
I am only bidding (absentee) on one item, not a matte. Have to have an xtra cup of coffee later today to stay awake for the live run, thats rather late here on the east coast. It will be very entertaining, I enjoy watching the live floor bids on these auctions, even if Im not bidding. I do **DO** regret not putting in a higher bid on the Brenner Lincoln Plaque from 1907 which sold a month or two ago. I was a damn fool for not putting up a higher absentee bid on that......
Hopefully we will have a posting of the finish prices in the auction, it will be interesting to see what these higher grade mattes will bring, in particular the 16's which I feel are a heartbeat away from superprices.
