Charles Barkley Lost $400K on the Super Bowl

By now we've all heard about Charles Barkley and his affinity for gambling, and if this recent interview with Jim Rome is any indication, he's still way too into this expensive hobby. Here he blames the ESPN experts for convincing him to change his bet on the Super Bowl, thus costing him "about $400,000."

Im sure he broke even with his endorsements with the Super Bowl adds though...

Read a little article attached to that blog about Latrell Sprewell defaulting on a yacht payment, it showed him a table at a casino somewhere. It just goes to show there is no limit on how bad you can get even with millions if your gambling gets out of control. There is no amount of money that can keep you safe!

Perkdog - You've got that 100% right! Don't know if many here know past Philadelphia Eagles Football Team ownership history, but a former owner, Leonard Tose, gambled away both his Philadelphia Eagles Football Team and his trucking company, playing blackjack at the AC casinos.

Steve Im not familiar with that but could see it happening no problem! From my standpoint on the matter-and Im sure you would agree, more money meens bigger bets to get the juices flowing, if Im a millionare and crave "action" $1000 dollar bets are not getting it done for me! After awhile it might take 6 figure bets to calm my cravings and with that, no amount of money could end up being enough especially if you go on a bad run at the tables... Just NASTY stuff, that not a whole lot of people truly understand.

Your right on Mr Tose . My Brother in law lives in Ocean City and worked security for years in the casinos. It was general knowledge down there about his losses. In some nights he allegedly dropped millions at the tables only to come back for more.Very sad
