Seen the card a few months ago from the same seller, very nice but out of my reach.
  • No, I'd rather pay off a fifth of my mortgage, but thanks. image
Atlanta Braves, Charlotte Hornets, Shawn Kemp, Dale Murphy, and Bobby Engram.
  • It looks a little off centered to me. Sure it looks ok, but not for a Gem Mint 9.5, or what I remember a gem 9.5 to be. image

The should re-submit to get a Prestine 10!!!!!!! image

  • That's the type of card that should be consigned to an auction house, not sold on Ebay.

Wow, I wonder if any of his offers were close to what he wants?
  • ...and still charges $50 to ship.

    greed.

I too think the card may have been trimmed.

for 24k I want it in a PSA or SGC slab.

    Good for you.
  • most likely trimmed...

    ....from a sheet?
  • If you figure in insurance for 25000.00 50.00 is not that bad.

If you got that kinda cash you are not going to be real worried about it anyway.

    Ya know Ted

That brings up an interesting point...

Does that really matter? I know it's a sweet card post-production - but if the size is good - to me it's ok - if the hobby recognizes it.

Same with repaired cards - if PSA and the other companies started grading repaired cards and marked - as such - again, that would be ok with me.

I know that it's accepted in the movie collection business - movie posters e.g.

    Just a thought.

On the subject of restoration. wasn't there a major auction house that admitted to soaking and pressing cards? I know I have recently read on a popular vintage card forum that cards that have been soaked to spruce up there apearance have no problem making it into holders with a number grade.
