Konica-Minolta Dimage Scan dual 4 (3600? dpi) slide/film scanner

I had some trouble making this thing work well with my former XP computer, although I did manage to scan about 1100 slides with it (scans 4 slides or a strip of 6 negatives). It took a bit of an odd maneuver for my computer to see it on USB (maybe it was computer and not the scanner, maybe there are better drivers out there now). It isn't good for anything but 35mm film or slides.
I don't want to see this on Ebay next week either.
