Temper temper Carew. Banishings are happening quite often these days, and I dont think you'll get the the kind of "please let him back" thread support that other's have gotten.

Or you could just not start political threads in a sports memorabilia forum......

    Hi Carol image
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

I think a little light politics is ok as I enjoy hearing what people here think. When it starts getting into mudslinging back and forth then it's the wrong place. I didn't see your thread so have no clue what it said. Maybe you need to re-phrase your thread; i.e. "Obama v. McCain - Who is better for card sales on Ebay?" Just a thought. Peace.
P.S. I voted for Obama in the primary last week!

I posted about the Pirates in the political thread, I think I should at least get a valentine's card from carol for being such an on topic, well behaved poster. image

There is no appropriate forum to move it so the thread and any other political threads (no matter how thinly veiled) will be deleted when seen.

The thread had really turned into a political trading card thread. Could go in the non-sportscard forum, no?

First 70chip hits on carolj last week, and now Darin. Stown isnt gonna like this.
  • DarinDarin Posts: 7,325 ✭✭✭✭✭
Didn't 70chip say if she was old, he'd like to go out with her just to spend her social security check? So you can pretty much count him out. And Stown doesn't really talk to her, just bats his eyelashes at her. image And he's busy showing the Chucky card a good time in Houston anyway.
  • Talking about the trading card issue would be fine but I don't think can happen without getting into a political debate.

Tell me about it--I flirted with Carol and two days later found a dead fish wrapped in a Houston Newspaper on my front step.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

Lock the threads, do not delete. Too much focus on disposal of information.

I will lock this one as it explains why all the others will be deleted.
This is not a political forum or open forum.
