Anybody Have Suggestions About how to send $.25?

I received back the packing slip with $4.00 in cash and this note:

25 pennies? The only problem with that is it would probably cost more to send. I know money is precious, but holy smokes.

Send the person a coupon (worth at least 25 cents off) for some hemorrhoid cream--and tell them you know they must surely need it.
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

Is it that hard to include a quarter and a penny in the bubble mailer?

i have done it numerous times.

Some people, I guess have every cent taken into consideration .

I have met a few people like that , really can't argue with em .

I like the idea with the quarter and the penny in the bubble mailer though .

Don't get much easier than that . .

it is just as easy to send the correct amount as it is to refund it.

If it was my customer I'd gladly refund the 26 cents.

keeping customers happy means repeat customers.

I would send him 25 pennies loose in a bubble mailer with his card. It amazes me how cheap some people really are.

  • Are you sending him a plain white envelope for his $2.75 shipping?

I recently started buying a lot of raw Seau on ebay. I have received a lot of plain white envelopes. I do not mind it when shipping is $1.50. But when I pay $3.00+ I would appreciate a little more cushioning.

bluemarlin, I like your idea, but let's take it a step further. Write him 25 checks for .01 each. Sure it's a lot of work, but the idea of what this guy's face might look like after seeing 25 checks for a penny is well worth the effort.

Send him 50 "Strawpennies" I hope the family guy fans appreciate the reference.

I got a 39 cent clip returned to me one time because it was broken but they spent 75 cents to return it
  • lol Thats funny. I'd never ask for a quarter back. I never even think to include the change when people send cash. I didnt think they cared. Guess I better start before I get hot with a neg.

I remember a few years back when people could send cash for items and some sellers made it clear
in the description that they did not make change.
