If you are speaking about the world stage, I'm very close to New York compared to someone in say, The Netherlands or Portugal. However, if you are just asking us US residents, then I'm several hundred miles away.

    Thanks for asking though.

    Hey Smithtown !

I'm in Bayshore , Matter of fact I used to go to Smithtown East !

Even though I was registered in Brentwood schools , my girlfriend was in East and the principal seen I was cutting out from Brentwood to come visit her , so he let me just go to some of the classes that a friend of mine was going to .

I know it was probably illegal on his part , but I wasn't telling anyone that's for sure, I was getting my way image

That was the coolest principal, they had a great auto shop too , that I did like 3 or 4 periods of a day in .

Glen Cove is about 35 miles West , I pass it almost every single day heading toward Manhattan .

Hey Mr. GoodLieu, Do you ever buy any stuff from Cardboard Memories in E. Northport on 25 ?

That place has some of the most beautiful stuff !

So many cards and autographed memorabilia .

The most I have ever seen in one store .
  • Actually yes I have. The owner of the store periodicly has had PSA/DNA in his store to authenticate signed items for his customers and I believe most if not all his items are authenticated by third party
experts.Your right he has some really nice stuff available.

You're right , I know authenticators are always there , but it is usually Spence , I have never seen any reps there from PSA unfortunatley, I think that is mostly due to the fact that they are so far away , while JSA is based in Jersey now if I am not mistaken .

Jeremy Kraft is usually the Rep from JSA that is there regularly

My wife can't go to that store anymore . . . she is addicted to buying autographed baseballs image

Not that I mind at all but I like to eat too

They have a huge Leroy Neiman painting of John Elway , autographed in the store that I am in love with , but it is a little out of reach.

  • I stand corrected . What you stated makes perfect sense and I was just assuming it was PSA/DNA. Hey PSA/JSA, at least the owner is going out of his way to at least try to insure quality items for his clients. My hats off to him. More of these Memorabilia stores should follow his lead.

Matter of fact I think I'll pop in there today, see what's new .

Anthother great place by us is Frank over at Finest Collectibles in W.Babylon on Deer Park ave .

Top notch guy and if you have kids or even if you don't have kids , he has these contest called pack wars, you buy packs , he asks questions and you win all kinds of cool memorabilia .

It's cool to see there are a few of us from the area in here .
