Is this card worth the $60 I paid for it?

It has a very slight crease above the L in his name. All of the corners are damaged (one has a small crease), and there is a slight stain on the bottom left corner on the back that is slightly visible on the front (bottom right). As you can see centering is great, and there is no paper or color loss.

If you can get it into a 4 holder then I would think it would be worth 80.00?

It is a nicely centered card. I think you did ok.

yes, it is worth the $60 you paid for it. probably could have gotten an already graded 3 for the same price range. an example where selling raw nets the same as graded. would say psa 4 but with the stain more lika a 3.

That's the key question. You seem to be and you should be. It's a nice card for that price.

I have a lot of star cards from the 60's that are around that condition (maybe a touch higher) and I love them all.

I dont see where the OP was asking for grades, so Im going to say that for 15% of the high Beckett value I think you got a very nicely centered 2nd year card of a popular hall of famer with great eye appeal.

I would have hit it for 60. Bottom line is if you are happy with the purchase price then that is all that matters.

A card is only worth what someone is willing to pay. You were willing to pay 60 so at that moment it was worth 60.
