PCGS 1999 Georgia P or D MS67 for $200. Who wants?

I'm the first on line. $150 for a Penn-D and New Jersey-D
This is PCGS price guide show with a first page comment that is "The markets most influential price guide. Prices are updated daily". It's a shame.

Coins minted in 2001 are part of the set registry but isn't in the price guide.

Hey Wondercoin,

I suppose that you need advise the people on charge of this "markets most influential price guide".

Edson: Your thread is in line with my thread last week on the Jeffersons. I'm sure you'll recall that thread. image

As I mentioned in the other thread, I have no intention of alerting anyone to correct their price guide (and, yes, I sell many high end state quarters). Any guide, is what it is. Yes, I find it amazing that after all this time a NJ(d) in MS67 is listed at $150! But, you can do what a buddy of mine did in the early 1990's when no one would price his high end Roosevelt Dimes-you can create the "Edson State Quarter Price Guide" image Wondercoin.

  • I'm not the more indicate person to publish a Price Guide. I prefer use a "Mitch's reference hot line". My point is that. PCGS have people like Wondercoin, David Hall, Gary, Tom and others that "lives" the market, why don't use this resource to keep, at least, an real price guide.

Was patetic I tried to explain to my doughter why I paid $800 for one coin that in the official grade service reference show's $35.

I believe that is not construtive to the market and it's a complication factor to new collectors come to the market. OK. have time to learn, but will much better have a satisfatory source of information.

  • damn if people are paying $800 for a .25 cent coin that was minted a few months ago then I am surly in the wrong business image
  • Are you saying you ought to be in the coin minting business?? (Oh, yeah, I guess there are rules against that!!)
