My hands are SHAKING

Sold one of my cards a week ago and I've tried contacting the buyer multiple times but no answer. This person is a new member with 0 feedback who bidded on my item.

But this morning when I checked the buyer out, he or she recently got a negative for not paying another seller. My hands are literally shaking right now because I DO NOT want a negative but this guy seems to me like hes an idiot and If I report him he'll give me a neg.

Heres the buyer's profile on eBay, look at what the other seller wrote.

I really hate to get a neg from this guy and if I do it will take a very long time for me to recover my overall rating.

Right now I am giving the second bidder a second chance to buy the item for $800.

Even a unpaid item reminder might tick this guy off.

Take a deep breath and relax. It is just an auction and feedback which really makes a hill of beans at the end of the day. Come May you will be flooded wityh negs if we are to believe all of the sellers here.

Back to 0? Not sure eBay will do that, got a link?

Just neg him if it comes down to that. He will probably get the boot and the neg will go away.

  • File a UPI on him right now, when you close it if it gets him suspended his feedback he leaves will be removed.

The only way to deal with this type is file the UPI negging him does nothing.

I know eBay is just a site but this would effect my rep for future buyers and sellers.
  • We are not all going back to zero unless you have no feedback in past year.

Wow, that is really too bad. That card went for a bunch! That sad part is, I'm sure the winner will not be paying and the other bidders are "over" all the superbowl Eli hype.

I seriously think that card won't go that high again.

I wouldn't worry at all. If he doesn't reply to the NPB his FB won't count anyway.

  • You have over 500 feedback and already have 4 negs. It will have no real affect on anything. If he gets NARU'ed it will be removed.

STOP trying to contact the buyer.

    File you NPB.

Communicate ONLY through the dispute console. (Do NOT
talk to him or emial him. He is likely NOT going to pay.)

If he fails to answer, close the NPB and get your FVFs back.

If he fails to answer the NPB, EBAY will remove the NEG he
    is likely to leave you.

This is what ALL sellers have to look forward to come MAY.

My thoughts exactly! I would be more worried about finding a $800 buyer than a NEG from this guy...

I would not be able to deal with that type of reliability , I have to worry about getting paid and I have to worry about doing the right thing and then getting a negative feedback ?

If I buy off E-bay I have to worry if I'm going to get what I paid for.

Forget about it , it just don't seem worth it and it seems to easy to be ripped off and it don't matter if you're the nicest guy in the world , matter of fact if you are , you'll probably be the first one ripped off .

"Who cares in 2 months all feedback will be back to 0 i think."

    //////////////////////////////////

    The current plan:

    Your total #s remain.

Your % - during the first 12-months of the changes -
will be based on 24-months backwardation counting.

In the second 12-months of the scheme, your FB %
will be based on 12-months back.

In all cases, your total FB numbers will display the same.
PSers will get extra credit of up to 52 non-unique FBs
per buyer, per year. This will count toward both PSer
    qualification and FB %.

    A complex maze of NONSENSE.

I should have added, about the "hands shaking" stuff:

This about money. Money is never worth "hands shaking."
It IS worth fighting hard for, BUT not if it is going to make
you have a nervous breakdown or give you a heart attack.

    Relax...........

    Shaking? Really?
  • WinPitcherWinPitcher Posts: 27,726 ✭✭✭
What i dislike about 2nd chance offers is that they make the bidder pay his max. Wouldn't it be more fair for the 2nd place bidder to pay 1 increment above the 3rd place guy?

As a buyer I never accept them.

As for the feedback thanks Storm for the explanation. Even if I have no idea what it meant, lol

    Good for you.

I'd be more concerned on not getting 800.00 bucks then I would be for some neg.

    Steve
    Good for you.
  • I sometimes get a person that dosen't pay right away, then I give them a few phone calls, and they usualy respond with paying for the item. I would definetly try to give them a phone call or two, and then wait for the appropreate time limit for the non-paying bidder process. And then if this person does not intend to pay you, and deciedes to leave you a neg for fun, it will be removed by ebay, and your neg to him/her will remain.

    Very funny Nick image

BUT, I speak way different than what I type. I don't know if you know, but I did live in Sicily as a kid, and learned everything there, and then came here to start all over again, so I always had a problem with writting, but hey, what can I do? Maybe come over to you and get some lessons? image

    Good for you.
  • Why waste your time calling them if they are going to pay they will pay calling them will make no difference. I send an invoice right away, then one on day 3 or 4 then on day 7 I file the UPI.

Of course I send them an invoice, but i'm saying if they don't pay after that, like two weeks goes by with no response, then i'll give them a call, and another, and another, lol.
