Grades Posted

I wish we could set up a poll, but as a collector, do you like that your grades are posted by PSA?
Some people like to see their cards go through the process electronically. Others like to wait for the USPS box to come back, open the box themselves, and see what they got. Which do you like better? Do you check, or do you wait for their return.

  • I always wanted to wait and get the thrill of opening the box and seeing what the results were in person as opposed to pulling up the results on-line...... but I'm a weak weak person and more times than not I broke down and checked on-line. My last big sub of vintage stuff (in October) I was indeed the master of my domain and I did not check on-line and saw the results first hand as I opened the box. I definitely prefer this method if you have the willpower.

I just sent a bulk submission this morning (first one since my Oct sub) and plan to do the same and wait it out. This time I shook things up a bit and "created" the sub so it would be a fun break by mixing up the years, sports, commons, and stars so I have no idea of what card is coming next when I go through the box. In fact I would think it would be more fun for the PSA grader that way too (either that or just plain annoying to them)? Now I prepare myself for the two month wait to get the cards in-hand but when I do I plan to do a live break here on the boards. I wish more people would do that because nothing helps a day at work go by faster than watching a PSA box break (even if it isn't my cards). Good luck if you try to wait it out!
