Can this 1956 Mantle be real?

He also has a 1954 Aaron and 1933 Ruth for sale and a low feedback rating, but he does show scans of the back of the card. I'm potentially interested in the Mantle if it were. All the numbers check out, but those scans are awful!

Just looks like the seller does not know how to crop and enlarge a scan.

It's probably real,I think that seller should have tried and build up some feedback before selling a high dollar card.
He/she won't get nearly as much do to the low feedback.

He has purchased 2 video games; total $20, to get his 2 FB.

Says, "No PickUp." That is often scamster lingo.

PayPal will not back up the buyer over $200.

Feels funny to me.

BUT, everybody had 2 FB at some point.

I would avoid.

If you buy, use a credit card.

Sure is adamant about no pickup. Yes, PayPal doesn't protect the seller if an item is picked up, and the seller may know that, but still unless I could pickup the item and pay with cash or money order, something like that, then I'm not bidding on it.

Just a feeling, I may be wrong, that this seller isn't new to ebay - but is sort of just pretending to be new. I fully believe that anyone selling high priced cards such as this, and the auction was legit, would either learn or get help in posting a full size scan. Could be a photoshop scan of some sort, again with the seller just pretending he doesn't know how to scan. Ahhh ebay....Scammer's paradise.

I live about 20 minutes from the seller's city. I emailed him asking if he could make an exception to his no local pickup. I'll let the board know what his response is, if any.
