Question on 2008 UD BB hobby packs. Went to the local card store and he had some, but for $6 a pack. Now he is a little high on pack prices, but I thought this was a bit much?? I do not believe that they were any type of jumbo pack, just regular ones. Is his price that far off??

The top 2 on the right are inserts (Prince Fielder, Babe Ruth). UD is doing a big thing on the last year of Yankee Stadium, so there's gonna be a ton of these inserts, still pretty cool looking cards. Overall, I like the base cards. Some similarities to last year, but no borders. I got this pack at Wal-Mart for $2.97, and it had 18 cards in it. One of the better values out there I think. I also got a Magglio base card, but no Braves unfortunately.

    ..some guy a new one
  • As I said, Wal-Mart has packs for 3 bucks w/ 18 cards. Not sure how much the bigger packs were, but I'd guess around 5. Your local dealer is a tad pricier than Wally world, but they pretty much have to be.
