Silly Snipe Question ...

If I put a bid on an item already and a higher snipe, as well, I'm not going to trump my "official" bid, so to speak, am I???????
Can I bid against myself?
Feel somewhat goofy asking this question ... so ridicule me, if you must!!!!

Personally, I like to set a snipe without making an initial bid. I would rather not draw attention to an auction by bidding on it.

What he said
Yes, this is a concern, but I've had justsnipe.com misfire in the past and I've lost out on autions.
Thanks for the input, guys.
It would be like you trying to bid manually and ebay tells you the minimum is not being reached.

And then it is usually under a buck.
