Is it different than Mike Vick? Yes. Mike Vick did what he did on American soil...breaking American laws. If he was originally from some third-world country where it was common...and he did it there, he'd still be playing football. 'nuff said.

Come on guys... be serious! By that mentality then, it would be totally ok to stone or beat a woman, or hire a 13-year-old prostitute... just because it is "acceptable" in some cultures? Sorry, that arguement simply does not hold water! Some things are just inherently wrong... and especially if you are a public figure... you've got to stay away from those situations... plain and simple. Sure, Pedro will not face any legal ramifications like Vick did, but the guy should know better!
