    I will forcast that if a properly graded 1909 VDB in proof 66 red or a matte proof 68 red Lincoln come to auction they will bring $100,000 +

  • Starting to look like the trade dollar page! I too agree on rising prices for the MPL's as coin values overall have been doing quite well for the most part, and I expect it to continue.

    But Stewart, the price guide on a 1914 proof 68 only says $20,000. Tell you what, I'll pay you $40,000 just because you are one of the good guys.

    I guess I am surprised they did this update BEFORE the Long Beach auction, because they will outdated in 48 hours. Plus, this increase finally shows that every Matte I have is now at a base value of more than what I paid for every coin. And the last one I bought was a year ago.
