Sea of Red, the Mercury onslaught continues with another new set

Another new set just debuted. It is 43% complete and mostly MS66FB. Is this fun or what! Perhaps the new entrant will say hello here, if you are watching. With any luck my addition of 3 new coins will pull me up to 20 from my present 23rd spot. However, as more and more really nice sets enter the registry I know my modest set will tread water.

Al, I have been waiting on 3 coins for a couple of weeks. The idiot Post Office managed to mangle my check and I just got the notification I have a package today, so 7 AM Thursday I will be there to pick it up (working for a living gets in the way sometimes...lol)

I may just have to pick up a coin I have been watching at L&C for the last couple of weeks to tread water. I think we are all pushing each other a little here and I like having the focus. Nothing in my plans have changed at all.

You guys are the ones to ask: Anyone have a PCGS Mercury in super low grade (like, GD04 or worse)? It might be a 1916 that someone thought had a "D" (I won't tell).
I'm looking to add one to my Type Set.
    Thanks!

I have a 1916 with a D that is PCGS FR-02. The only coin I have ever submitted to PCGS, had to make sure it was real.

What a set! I hope just to complete the set not the finest in the world, just to complete an unc. set. I went to number 14 from number 13, like everyone else I fell one place. I agree that money can buy a place in the registry set, but no money can top the thrill I have finding just one nice mercury dime that I can add to my set. And MOST important is the friendship I have with all the Mercury dime collectors here. It doesn't matter what number I am as long as I still have fun with the set!imageimage
