1915-S Philippines One Centavo
Red Book listed price in: XF - $75.00 MS60 - $650.00 MS63 - $975.00
From the photo provided by the seller, the coin looks more UNC. The coin should be in my hands any time soon now. I will provide another photo taken out of the 2x2.
What do you think the grade is from the seller's photo.

I really like the way you're stepping up to the plate on these coins. If you want to hit a home run, you have to swing for the fences.

Some great detail, but I'm wondering if it's a slider. How's the luster?
Please let us know how it grades out.

I can see why the seller's scan led me to think of possible corrosion. But picking it up for $75 was totally the right thing to do. You have to take chances like that to build a great collection on the cheap.
And I think this chance is going to pay off, especially on seeing your last photo/ Now I think the dark spots that worried are just normal gunk, not corrosion.
Good luck. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Warm regards,
Just Having Fun (and lots of it)
