collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.

looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started

  • I've got to raise a decent chuck of cash for a new business (restaurant) venture that I'm working on. I'll give everyone the scoop as soon as I'm ready to open. Hopefully my Detroit area peeps will come and visit when we open. I'm also bummed about PSA's new grading scale. I always paid a premium for higher end cards and I think the new grading system is a slap in the face to those who are in my shoes. If you're buying to re-grade and bump or to have an ultra premium collection, I'd take a long look at my cards. I'll be selling at least another 2,000 over the next year so bookmark me as a favorite ebay seller. Although, I'd imagine that most of my cards would be worthy or a .5 bump, I just don't have the time for that right now. So, basically this was a good time for me to sell.

So the ones you're marketing as NM/MT +, you're guaranteeing a bump, right? image

Just kidding, very nice cards and I'm watching a couple too.

The mods may move the thread to the BST, but great cards nonetheless.

To maximize prices I may have went year by year instead of alphabetically to attract set builders. Just a thought for your future 2000 cards.
  • Nick's right, this should be moved to BST.

But yeah, those are some fantastic cards man. I wish I had the budget for the 49 Bow Berra. I still need that one for my set.

For the love of god, don't open a restaurant unless you want to be broke and stressed out for a minimum of 5 years. Please just trust me on this. YOU WILL BE BROKE AND STRESSED OUT FOR A MINIMUM OF FIVE YEARS!!

What is the standard of differentiation between a PSA 8 NM/MT+ and a PSA 8 NM/MT++?

    Jake
  • Wow, the 58 Banks is already up to $190! Good luck with everything.
  • Thanks for the heads up. I was burning the midnight oil last night trying to get that batch of cards up an I must have spaced it.
  • Oh and thanks for posting the scan of the Bridges. It gets no betta than that one.
