Shockey no show for parade

Hopefully that will continue next year as well. BOSS looked pretty good to me!! Anyone notice how improved Eli became after Shockey became injured?? I believe the G Men have solved their problem!! At least Plaxico had a legit excuse for his no show.

    Well it's clear that the Giants don't need Shockey or Tiki to win. Any particular reason why Shockey didn't do the parade?

    I thought it was typical Shockey when they showed him up in a booth during the game, with a beer in front of him. Why wasn't he on the sidelines with his team?

    That ones easy .... was not allowed ... I am pretty damn sure that no player out of uni was allowed on the sidelines ...

    If nothing else, Shockey won't be yelling at Eli in the huddle next year.

    Reports today said that Plaxico played injured during the game and should'nt have even been in the game. Probably too sore to attend the festivities. Gotta love Shockey pounding beers with his buddies in the suite!! Hey Shockey!! Break a leg, again!

    Funny, I thought the same thing. The guy looked like a donkey on national TV. What a prima donna.

    maybe he still had a hangover from his bervages during the game. if that would have been me i would rather have been down on the sidelines with my teammates. but maybe that speaks loudly for what he is really like.

    Not that Im a Shockey fan by any stretch but the Giants may only have been allowed a certain amount of players on the sidelines? He might not have been allowed on the field maybe?

    i seem to have recalled seeing other giants players in jersey tops but no pads. hard to see why they would be limited to how many players (non-active) that are allowed on the sidelines. unless he wasnt wanted there.

    If he is still on crutches then that would be the reason. Crutches and being anywhere on the playing field is not a good combination. Any fluke sideline collision and we'd be asking why was he on the sidelines with crutches.

    The G-Men were 4 and 0 (playoffs) with Shockey not on the sidelines. Why he chose not to be in the parade id his business. maybe he did not want to take the spotlight off of those that did play? Just a thought.
