New PSA Website and Population Report Unveiled

I'm sure most of you are aware of the changes made to the PSA site (there was a post yesterday) but if not......

The PSA homepage and Population Report have been redesigned to improve the user experience. Most notably, the PSA Population Report will now show all grades (1-10) including qualified grades and half-point grades to provide the user with more precise information about the PSA grading history of each issue. We hope the users enjoy the enhancements to our site.

One of the main things I would like you all to be aware of is that you will now need to login to the site to see your orders. This enhancement follows what we have done on our coin side and their feedback has been good over the last 2 years. After you have logged in you should be able to see your orders past and present. Also, if you are looking at your orders and you see that your order is on Receiving Hold you know we have it but it has been marked as a problem order. We will still be sending e-mails but there can be a delay in that process so now you should now earlier if there is a problem and can contact customer service to resolve it quicker.

If you are unsure of your login please call customer service for help.

I don't really have enough cards to send in for grading, but I do like to buy graded cards, so it would be nice to have some sort of low-cost (or even free!) option to view the pop-report.

EDIT: Spoke too soon. Looks like there already is a low-cost option for this. Never mind. image

I have never complained publicly about turnaround times before, but I agree with this statement. How can a guy in another thread get a 125 card bulk submission done in 7 business days when it says estimated 45 day turnaround, and I send in a tiny 4 card submission under the $13/5 day special with an estimated 5 day turnaround, and I am on day 6 already? Please explain that when you get a chance carolj.

Since I'm not part of operations (no one in customer service is) I really can't answer that. I can bring it to the attention of our operations manager for you. I do understand that it can be frustrating so I will bring this complaint to the attention of our operations manager.

Carol, don't knock it until you've had a sample....I like older women up into about 55, research has found they get "slower" after 55 but they are closer to social security and the guaranteed income that social security provides so there is value in investing in a senior member to support me and my hobby. Whatcha say Carol, how bout a date???

  • Looks great, but there seems to be a couple of months of population data missing.

    carol,

the problem comes when you see that people that have submitted under the same service level with roughly similar number of cards in an order receive their grades in a two to three weeks (calendar) time, while you still have one sitting at psa for two months calendar time. obivously there is no gaurentee anymore about turn around times. but it does get maddening to see some one basically allowed to cut in front of you.

Hey. What happened to all the pics of guys in the uniforms of teams they haven't played for in several years?
