1989 TV Sports Mailbag Items

The Beckett checklist that many player collectors use as a starting point lists a set called 1989 TV Sports Mailbag. I was confused for a long time by this set, and the two Will Clark "cards" in it. I finally got the second one last week, and thought I'd show them so other player collectors can see what they're all about.
Anyway, the "cards" are actually 8x10 photo-type cards. They're not glossy and are on a stock thicker than a photo but not as thick as a card. I'll scan one of the backs soon and add it to this thread. The "cards" were issued in plastic bags with four in each package. Most packs had players from the same team, though others had Rookies of the Year or top sluggers.
I'm not sure anyone here really cares, but I thought I'd post this in case anyone ever searches the forum for information.

Anyway, here's the Will Clark #49 (looks like Will took a fastball to the head just prior to this photo, doesn't it?):

Here's the Will Clark #131:

Finally, I stumbled upon a 1989 TV Sports Mailbag keychain a while back. It isn't listed on the Beckett checklist, but is actually a really interesting item:

Great stuff! I've had trouble finding a couple of those. I've got a few but can't seem to find a Ron Gant anywhere.
I like the keychain, never saw that before. I really enjoy this kind of stuff and love seeing player collectors share tough addictions to their collections.
