some advice for you guys

don't ever put dishwashing liquid for hand washing in your automatic dishwasher.

I can be such an idiot at times

I'm glad Chuck has already been mailed . That would have been an easy one for you to pin on him

actually Chuck was still here when I did it. LOL

Happened Sunday and took about 2 hours to clean up. I flooded the kitchen and it leaked into the basement too

only put a tiny bit in there because I was only topping off what was left of my regular soap.

We had a toilet incident on Christmas that flooded the bathroom, hallway and into one bedroom. Took days for the carpet to dry so I know the feeling. I was just thankful there weren't many floaters to pick up image

Well I now have some really clean dishes and a spotless floor.

Couple years ago, I had a 55 gallon fish tank give out on a bottom corner at about 10:00 at night on top of my hardwood floor. Thank God I was home at the time and heard the splashing . About 20 gallons ended up on the floor.

No more fish tanks around here.

How do the bubbles escape when using the hand detergent? Why wouldn't they stay inside like the water does in normal cycles?

Or is there some sort of pressure build-up that forces them out?

    I'm confused.

and the bottom. Doesn't make sense to me either. must be the pressure and the heat.

Not only bubbles came out but the water poured out the bottom too. Bubbles clogging up the drain?

A few years ago I put too much leftover pasta down the disposal. When it pushed it back up at me, I pushed more in. Eventually I shoved about three pounds down the sink and let it gind, thinking that I won the war. The next day I went into the basement and found all this shredded white sh*t all over the floor.

We did that on purpose at a party I had once. Ended up with lots of girls in bras and panties playing in all the bubbles. It was a pain to clean up the next day, but it was worth it as bubbles were not the only thing that got blown.

I think every guy has done that at some time in their life!

I did that back in 1979 when I moved to Ft. Bliss, Texas - what a mess! My first dishwasher.
