Philadelphia Eagles are sitting on a monster season coming up

Mark my words - The Giants are nice & comfortable with their Super Bowl win...they'll be complacent and won't even win the NFC East. No way the Packers can possibly repeat their success of last season. Cowboys suck. The other NFC teams aren't that good. The Eagles roll through the NFC and get to the Super Bowl, but in no way, shape or form do the Patriots get there. The Patriots will struggle to get into the playoffs off their crushing Super Bowl loss, and will get beat by another AFC team. The Eagles win the Super Bowl next season...should be a piece of cake.

wait, did Tom Brady just get traded to the Eagles along with Welker and Moss? Otherwise I think you should edit your post to
"a monster season at the dunkin donuts"

    Sincerely,
    Teams that mattered in 07

The Eagles were actually the hottest team in football towards the end of the season, and barely missed the playoffs. They missed the playoffs due to some horrendous coaching decisions by their head coach earlier in the season, when he wasn't thinking clearly because of family problems.

McNabb is coming back healthy, and Reid will have a clear head...that all bodes badly for the rest of the NFC, and the AFC in the Super Bowl.
  • Are you sure McNabb will still be there next season?

Yes, he'll be the opening day starter, barring injury.

To me that's all the NFL is about - It's the Eagles, and then there's the rest of them teams standing in the way. image

I still think McNabb can be a winner, look how close they came when he had a big time WR at his disposal ( T.O ) Give the guy some WR help and they are capable of winning, seriously will they ever figure out they need some WR's? Reggie Brown is NOT the answer image

Perkdog, you've got that right - Brown was a disapointment this season. I'll be very surprised if the Eagles don't try to sign the best receiver available out there - I fully EXPECT them to sign somebody. I haven't looked yet who is available, but it will be an interesting off season for sure.

id love to see the iggles get Chad Johnson
  • Totally ridiculous statements.

Cowboys / Giants fight it out for the NFC East

    Redskins could suprise

    Eagles bring up the rear

    That's about right.
  • McNabb has a hard time staying healthy, I wouldn't be surprised if that trend continues next season as well.
  • HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! That was the mother of all predictions! You probably just got done crying in your Cheesesteak, because your team sucks so bad. You had to watch other northeastern teams play for the Championship when your worthless team wasn't even relevant. You are in a class with the Jets, Bills and Ravens!! How does it feel??? I bet McNabb doesn't even make it out of training camp without an injury. My prediction is that your Eagles end up in the same place they ended this year.
