Give your answers off the cuff without researching to look up the answers.

I will give a small hint. Three teams are from the AFC and one from the NFC.

Well, not having to look anything up, what's Denver's record in the SB. As I recall, they went often, but it took a while to actually win one.

Denver's Super Bowl record is 2-4.

They lost to the Cowboys in the 1978 Superbowl, lost to the Giants in the 1987 Superbowl, lost to the Redskins in the 1988 Superbowl, lost to the 49rs in the 1990 Superbowl, beat the Packers in the 1998 Superbowl and beat the Falcons in the 1999 Superbowl.

They also lost an AFC title game to the Bills in the early 1990's and lost an AFC title game to the Steelers 2-3 years ago.
  • Dallas 5-3
    Denver 2-4
    Pittsburgh 5-1
    New England 3-3

    We have a winner.

Jrmacdaddy nailed it. Question is whether he knew the answers without having to look it upimage
  • No problem there.

    San Fran 5-0
    Wash 3-2
    GB 3-1
    Buff 0-4
    Minn 0-4
    Colts 2-1
    Chiefs 1-1
    Raiders 3-2
    Dolphins 2-3

    I could go on.

I hear you. I'd like to see the Vikes make it back. I was 9 the last time the played in a SB.
  • And the teams that haven't made it:

    Browns
    Jags
    Lions
    Texans
    Cardinals
    Saints

Well I hate to state the obvious facts, but on the average an NFL team is only going to win a Super Bowl once every 32 years, and be in a Super Bowl once every 16 years.

At my age, I'm starting to run out of patience. image

Actually an NFL team wins the Super Bowl every year. image

Which team will be the first of this lot to win a superbowl? (eagles don't count as they possibly never will win one) image

Teams that have never won a Super Bowl:

    Buffalo Bills,
    Cincinnati Bengals,
    Cleveland Browns,
    Houston Texans,
    Jacksonville Jaguars,
    Tennessee Titans,
    San Diego Chargers,
    Philadelphia Eagles,
    Detroit Lions,
    Minnesota Vikings,
    Atlanta Falcons,
    Carolina Panthers,
    New Orleans Saints,
    Arizona Cardinals,
    and the Seattle Seahawks.
  • the jags will win one first out of that list
  • perkdogperkdog Posts: 30,658 ✭✭✭✭✭
Lots of talent on some of those teams, notibly the Chargers, Browns Saints and Eagles but I would have to agree the Jags fit the mold of a soon to be winner, a QB who makes very little mistakes along with a powerful tandem at the RB position and a very tough Defense.

i gotta go with the jags next as well,

sure hope so because i've got season tickets.

playing in same div. as colts makes it tuff for a home playoff game
