I say none. He should not have won the MVP. I would give it to the NYG's Def. line.

And Dominic Rhodes should have won it last year. The Manning boys are now the darlings of the NFL. Is that DSRL commercial the dumbest commercial you've ever seen?

But to answer the question. Topps Chrome should be the card. Has the Peyton even been added from last year yet? I quit my SB MVP set about 5 months ago and I don't think he was in there yet.

I agree..Problem was Osi was the most dominant player last night but he never actually got a sack. Justin Tuck playing DT ended up with 2, and they weren't giving the MVP to Justin Tuck..lol

Eli did drive the field for the final score. That escape and evade to make that throw to Tyree sealed the MVP so long as they ended up winning.

I believe that evade play sealed it for him as well. It was a great 4th quarter drive. The catch by Tyree was fantastic as well!

Is it just me, or did Eli look a million times better once Shockey left the lineup? And what was up with him drinking margaritas and coors light in a suite while his teammates were winning a super bowl on the sidelines without him?

LOL..I was thinking the same thing when they showed him drinking it up in the press box...

I would bet Shockey will no longer be a Giant in 2008. His play just doesn't quantify his paycheck or having to deal with his "issues"..

Thats gotta be the biggest kick in the seat though, getting hurt and not being able to say you were a part of the Super Bowl win. I know he will get a ring but if it was me I wouldnt consider it to have any meaning.

I think Shockey being in the suite spoke volumes while other injured Giants were on the sidelines in the street clothes wearing their jerseys.

Shockey is a cancer on that team and it's not coincidence that Eli has played his best ball as a pro since Shockey's selfish persona is no longer in the huddle or in the locker room

After last season, I felt Tiki, Shockey, and Strahan were all cancers. But Jerry Reese put Strahan in his place during his holdout. And in my eyes, Reese gets no respect for what he did putting this team together. Great draft picks (Steve Smith, Bradshaw, Alford, Ross, Boss) and not wasting money on overpriced free agents. The Giants are very young (Strahan excluded) and are way, way under the cap.

Eli had over 150 yards and 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter. The D line kept it close, but no single player was dominant enough to be MVP. At halftime, I thought Tuck should have been MVP if the Giants ended up winning, but his 2nd half was not as dominant. I'm no fan of Eli, but if you have to pick a single most valuable player, he was it.
