While she's in the shower, just wanted to drop my $0.02

First off to perkdog.. Bro, I honestly feel bad for you. Seriously, I can't even imagine what you're going through. But keep your chin up; most guys would give their left nut for 3 rings in 7 years. Going undefeated during the regular season is still quite an accomplishment. Regardless of what the haters say, it's still admireable.

Let me just say that it was a fantastic game.

There are 2 things that will forever stick in my mind.. And sorry in advance if this has already been said (don't have time to read the last +/- 30 threads).

At about the 3rd quarter, Moss started to give up on routes before the play was over. This didn't just happen once, but at least 4 times by what I saw.

And finally, on the Pats next to last possession.. Why in the heck didn't Yoda run the ball to burn NYG's timeouts? 1st and 10 at the 20, 3 mins left, and only down 3...

YOU FREAKING RUN THE BALL 3 TIMES, PERIOD.

Worst case, you tie.. Well, actually, worst case is a TO but that's another story.

RUN! RUN! RUN!

They run just one, only one, play and I'm pretty sure NE at least ties but more than likely, scores a TD with no time left.. No doubt in my mind.

But whatever, just my opinion.

Congrats NYGs fan. Great game and the better team won today.

Enjoy it and well deserved.

Could not agree more. Congrats to all Patriot fans to a historic season! It had never been done before going 18-0.

"The answer was in the Patriots eyes. Gone were the swagger and c0ck sure smirks, replaced by downcast eyes and heads in hands. For his poise and leadership Eli Manning was named the game's MVP. The 2007 Giants were never perfect nor meant to be. They were fighters, scrappers....now they could be called something else, World Champions."

Neither team could run, and the Patsies knew they needed a TD to have any chance. Did you honestly think that Eli could answer
this drive with a TD? I mean heck, half the time he was just throwing it up and hoping for his wide outs to come up with it (and they
    did!).

All the talk was about Brady and the WR corps, but in the end it was about defense and the ablilty to clock manage, which a passing
team has difficult doing. I really thought that the Patsies were worried that they wouldn't even score,. Running time off the clock wasn't
    even on the radar.

The Giants did something that no other team could do this season....repeatedly break through NE's O line.

Which is the reason they lost.

Now pay up your bets, welcher.

Pats could not run the ball period. The only time they moved the ball with any success was through the air, so I wasn't surprised that they abandoned the run in that spot. I also don't think they were playing for the tie, so going for the TD at whatever point it came was the right call there, IMO. When Pats scored to go ahead with two minutes left, I doubt many fans, other than loyal Giants fans, thought the Giants would pull it out.

I though Moss was the second coming of Jerry Rice?
