NYG! Yeah Baby!!
I'm an Eagles hometown fan, and we kept it close with them during our lousy season. When I saw how the Giants handled them in the first game & then let them off the hook, I figured right then that the Giants were likely the only team with a CHANCE of beating them in The Super Bowl! My pick was Giants 19-17.
So well-done, Eli! Join your bro in the limelight, and savor the win! '72 Dolphins team & fans (of which I am one) - - you're overall achievement still stands! Send your favorite Giants player a "thank-you" note!

P.S. In that get-up, did Belicheck remind anyone else of a poncho-clad alien from the worst of any of the Clint Eastwood "spaghetti-Westerns" trying to cross into the U.S. via our southern border?

There were a lot of long faces here in Boston today, let me tell you. Gene (and other Giants fans) congratulations! The Patriots didn't give you the game, the Giants TOOK the game.

The Pats offensive line was obviously overwhelmed and not able to fully adjust to the onslaught brought on by the Giants defense. The Giants truly won that game through an awesome defense and the persistence of Eli Manning. Breaking that virtually certain sack was brilliant determination and topping it off with a miracle pass/reception will go down in history as one of the most (if not the most) fantastic plays in SB history.
I was pulling for the Pats all the way but have to concede that the Giants played the better game and played to win.
