HATS off to you guys. WHat a Super Bowl. I still am numb ... you have had the joy of watching a GREAT team for some time now. Those kind of runs always end eventually .... I know trust me. You should be proud image

    Each game you win, you are that much closer to losing. Unfortunately to lose this game was just, well, words cant describe it. gemmintman was half right...BOTH teams left it on the field.....I dont think any two teams could have left as much on the field as these two did. Me? I live just outside Boston, and honestly, there are fireworks going off every 10-15 mins or so. One thing I have always said, which is probably not going to be true after this year, is that '2nd place is first loser....noone remembers #2'. I think EVERYONE will remember who #2 was in 2007, as #2 didnt lose its first game till the Super Bowl. One more thing, perhaps every team that makes it to the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup finals, World Series, NBA Championship, World Cup, World Tiddlywinks, etc....should have ONE guy 'guarantee' his team will win. First Namath, then Messier, now Burress....seems to work, no?

    edited to add: Congrats to the Giants, and to Eli....(ironic brothers win it two straight years, MVP's)....the better team won tonite, the team that wanted it more won tonite.....and, to top it all off, yet another wild card team that wins a championship.

    What shame? We were out played tonight and deserved to lose. Plus, I will settle for my team going to the Big Dance 4 times since 2001 and winning 3.

    Thank You, Im proud of the way we played this year. Tough pill to swallow, it takes the greatness out of going undefeated for the regular season but it was still fun to watch. I for one definately underestamated the G-Men early on, but that defense played some of the best playoff football I have seen. Congrats on your Super Bowl win Giants fans!

    Congrats to both teams. It was a great game. I would have liked to see history, but watching the underdog win is just as good.

    Agreed. The biggest drawback is we likely get to hear smack from Mercury Morris and Don Shula for the rest of their lives.
