    BOTH teams played like Champs tonight.

    "Choke" is usually defined by a usually awesome team playing like crap. Pats didn't play like crap...they just got beat...plain and simple.

  • I know what you mean, but I can't even call it a choke for the Pats. Brady marched down the field and took the lead with 2 1/2 minutes left. He did his thing. What no one counted on was ELI.

    If they had beaten the Pats of early in the season, yes. The Pats played many close games in the second half and always made just one or two more plays that their opponents until tonight. Losing Rosie Colvin changed the defense dramatically, like losing Rodney last year. Heckuva game but not a huge upset. The point spread may have been big, but remember that is to get bets down evenly on both teams. Way too many points for evenly matched teams, as was demonstrated in week 17.
