A guy with 101 aliases comes to mind.
"The answer was in the Patriots eyes. Gone were the swagger and c0ck sure smirks, replaced by downcast eyes and heads in hands. For his poise and leadership Eli Manning was named the game's MVP. The 2007 Giants were never perfect nor meant to be. They were fighters, scrappers....now they could be called something else, World Champions."
The guy is a class act and has never been in trouble with the law from Day One.

<< <i>What in the world does that pic of Eli have to do with anything? LOL!

I just threw it out there for softparade.
As for him being a class act, not really. Class acts don't throw a tantrum and insist that they go to the team of their choice prior to draft day. A class act would have been excited to be the first pick and have a chance to turn around a franchise (see older brother). Those of us who are chargers fans think he really is a first class POS.
In case you don't remember - here's how it went down with your "class act" b*tch. Wine and cheese please.
I agree that Manning could have better handled the draft day situation, but in a league where headlines are made off the field on a regular basis for all the wrong reasons, Manning is as clean as it gets.

Edit: Wow, I guess so. It would probably mean more to me if I were from Indy though.
<< <i>Ahhhhh I see, a Charger fan. I guess I understand, But ya know? GET OVER IT. Why in the world is that still bothering you? Are you ashamed of the moronic behavior of Phillip Rivers on the sidelines during games? Whatever man! There are players doing MUCH WORSE every week ..... geez LET IT GO. Eli Manning has been a class act here in NY even after getting ripped to shread for 3 years. >>
Rivers is quite embarrassing, no doubt. As for it bothering me, it only comes up when Eli gets to the super bowl. Other than that I'm good with it. Should be a good game though. I think the 14 point spread is nuts. Not that NE can't win by more, but there's a ton of scenarios where NY covers.
If not I hope its a 4th quarter comback with lots of excitement and hard hitting line play.
<< <i>I honestly dont care what the score is as long as my Patriots win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >>
That's not true, Perk. You told me anything less than a 50-3 Patriots blowout would be a huge disappointment to you. Then you told me that the entire Patriots team would do an around the world 19-0 victory tour starting at the White House.
<< <i>Guess you think Elway was a POS, too, then.
I agree that Manning could have better handled the draft day situation, but in a league where headlines are made off the field on a regular basis for all the wrong reasons, Manning is as clean as it gets. >>
Difference being he, along with Bo Jackson, had baseball to fall back on.
Had the Colts not traded Elway, he would have sat out and continued his baseball career, just like Bo did.
Eli would have just sat on his couch and moped.
<< <i>I'll give you law abiding. But actually I don't remember draft life back that far. Did Elway pull the same crap?
Edit: Wow, I guess so. It would probably mean more to me if I were from Indy though. >>
The Dolts were still in Baltimore when Elway pulled his crap.

Ron >>
Hope your right Ron!
<< <i>Sheesh Steve the only thing I could see bothering you more would be Gloating Patriot AND Red Sox fans huh? >>
Nah, the Red Sox don't bother me because they never hurt my Phillies...the Patriots denied my Eagles a Super Bowl victory and I don't like that one bit. Heck I'm steamed at the Yankees for beating my Phillies in the 1950 World Series and I wasn't even born yet. LOL
<< <i>Therapy might help....... >>
I tried it, the psychiatrist was a Philadelphia sports fan as well...told me to keep rooting for Philadelphia sports teams and maybe we'll win another championship before the next Ice Age sets in. LOL

Don't know Pats fans. Gisele is there. Bellichek is not wearing the gray hoodie.
Some negative mojo working.
HowEVAAAAA, I believe the Pats will seal the deal in the second half, no matter the score.
Well Eli just tossed a pick.
Never mind.
