MLB becomes less fan friendly

For the past few summers I have been a mainstay at going to the HOF game in Cooperstown. They finally announce the teams and the date for the game. Along with that announcement comes that this will be the final year of the HOF game!
For 67 years this game has been a tradition. Now MLB says that its too difficult for them to schedule the teams. So, they want to tell me that for 67 years they struggled. BS!!! It's bad enough that players are less and less fan friendly. Looks like MLB wants to futher encourage that.
I have no doubt this all has to do with money.
A big "screw the fans" from MLB and big "thank you to MLB for sucking the big one" from the fans!!

I would also assume that the MLBPA had some say in this also trying to get "more money" for their starving players.

Holy Crap that looks like Otis Nixon?
edit: This line made me roll my eyes: Now MLB says that its too difficult for them to schedule the teams. So it's tough to get a couple teams to go play in New York, yet they can send the Dodgers & Padres to China for a series. Yeah, I know it's to open up MLB to a new and growing market, but if they can pull that off, surely they can set up a game at Cooperstown.

Two teams that essentially have the day off are scheduled for an exhibition game for the fans. Some players dont show. The starters normally dont play more than 3 innings. The rest of the game is finished by some minor leaguers they bring up. The game is a real fun time. HOFers always show up, lots of autographs signed, and just a lot of up close fun.
A couple years ago the Red Sox were there. Johnny Damon took of his jersey, put it on a kid and autographed it for him. What a great moment that was to watch. I think the kid was like 6 years old or something. Damon played catch between innings with the crowd in CF.
Some of the players really get into it and have a good time. It will be very sad to see this come to an end.
