    It just may be...the Ruth he's selling was used on the same scanner. So if it's a scam, at least he was smart enough not to use two different scans from two completely different scanners.

    Regardless, zero feedback is pretty much as risky as you can get so I'd pass.

    edit: Plus, wouldn't it stand to reason that a guy who owns these two cards probably got at least one on Ebay? Or at least gotten others off Ebay? Smells like trouble to me.

    As much as I HATE EBAY, it appears that their May scheme-changes
    will prevent ALL of these kind of scams.

    Hijacked accounts will be required to pull these off, in the future.

    I emailed one of his Craigslist posts and he sent the same pictures already posted here. The return name on the email was Joe Hernandez. I forgot to ask where he lives. Curious if anyone else had contacted him and gotten a different name. Here's a link to three CL posts:

    Was Hernandez one of the names used in the
    counterfeit-slab scam that burned the NET54
    guys?

    That scam came from Craig's List, too.

    Yup.

    The subject cards are either lower grade than the slabs say,
    OR they are counterfeit.

    The flips are FAKE.

    TO ALL INDIVIDUALS WATCHING THE AUCTIONS BY 509SPORTCARDSRUS DO NOT BID!!!!!

    I HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH THIS INDIVIDUAL IN THE PAST. HE STOLE 8000.00 FROM ME 2 YEARS AGO ON EBAY WHICH I NEVER GOT BACK AS I AM INTERNATIONAL HERE IN CANADA AND THE AUTHORITIES GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND BECAUSE OF JURISDICTION. HE GOES BY JOE HERNANDEZ, MISTY WEBB, ROSIE FOSTER, BUT HIS REAL NAME IS RAYMOND JENSEN, AGE 29. ONCE HE GETS YOUR MONEY ORDER YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL FROM HIS FIANCEE STATING THAT HE IS IN THE HOSPITAL WITH PNEUMONIA, THEN 3 DAYS LATER HE WILL SEND YOU A BOGUS TRACKING NUMBER AND DISAPPEAR. HE PREFERS PAYMENTS TO BE SENT WESTERN UNION, AND AS SOON AS YOU WIN THE AUCTION HE WILL TELL YOU ABOUT ALL THESE OTHER AMAZING CARDS THAT HE WON AT A LOCAL AUCTION HOUSE IN SEATTLE.

    THE LAST TIME HE PULLED THE SCAM HE WAS SELLING THESE SAME CARDS AS WELL AS A PSA 5 T206 MATHEWSON DARK CAP, A SPORTING NEWS COBB BLUE PASTEL PSA 7.

    HE IS A THIEF. IF ANYONE CAN CATCH HIM PLEASE DO SO......OBVIOUSLY I AM NOT GOING TO GET MY MONEY BACK BUT JUST KNOWING THAT HE HAS BEEN CAUGHT WILL GIVE ME SOME REST. I WAS IN UNIVERSITY AT THE TIME AND HAD TO DROP OUT BECAUSE I WAS BUYING THE CARDS TO FLIP AND LOST ALL MY MONEY AND GOT NO CARDS. OBVIOUSLY THAT'S MY OWN FAULT DUE MY THE RISK I TOOK, BUT I NEVER GOT TO FINISH SCHOOL BECAUSE I LOST MY SEMESTER'S WORTH OF MONEY AND HAD TO PAY MY BILLS.

    I HAVE REPORTED HIM TO EBAY, BUT IF ANYONE IN THE US CAN HELP PLEASE DO SO.

    HE USED TO STEAL A LOT OF HIS IMAGES FROM REA AUCTIONS AND VARIOUS ONLINE ONES. A QUICK SEARCH ON YAHOO WILL PRODUCE THE SAME IMAGES.

    I JUST WANT TO ALERT EVERYONE ON HERE TO STAY AWAY.....I KNOW WHO THIS PERSON IS.
