Best way to maximize sales on raw cards?

I don't have any graded cards, but would like to sell some of my raw cards to expand my team/player collections. Is there a better way to do this than eBay? I feel I've got some cards that would be graded around a 9, possible 10, but don't really have the money to throw into a PSA membership, much less the expense per card of getting them graded.

  • I would try PRO grading, they always gibe out 10's! image

    I have no clue if they charge a membership fee, but they always seem to give out 10's image

    Try the Buy-Sell-Trade section on these boards. A list of what you have, some prices if possible, and some scans should bring some action. What years are your cards?

    Just do what 80% of Ebay sellers do that sell raw cards;

    Overgrade, lie, overgrade, lie....

    Mostly late 80's-early 90's. In other words, the "overproduced, sucky, everyone already has them so they're difficult to sell" years.

    That kind of stuff you will maximize by giving to a charity and using them as a tax write off
  • I would still list on Ebay, and I would make sure that I took clear and detailed photos of the front and back, if they are higher value cards.
