Dime Experts: HELP I'm looking to buy a Seated Dime with Arrows. Is this a good candidate????

What do you grade it and what is a fair price? Looking for one for my type set.

Any input or information would be greatly appreciated.

    Nice looking coin!

I know that an 1853 w/arrows 10c is very common and you should be able to buy for a reasonable price in MS64/MS65 condition. As far as the half dime I have no idea...

    Hi Debbus,

My advice to you would be to choose the "Non Half Dime" variety for your Seated Dime w/arrows,
but this one seems to be a nice one, perhaps an MS-64? image

That is a very nice AU HALF dime. Wear on the breast and leg.

The coin is in a PCGS MS64 holder. I just wasn't sure that it would make that grade again. Pretty coin but I don't want to over pay for a coin that might be AU. That is why and I asking for opinions from those of you who collect dimes.

    Thanks

    Dennis

It sure looks like a break in luster and slight wear on her left breast. And the same on her right leg.

To give a fair judgement of the coin,It would have to be seen in hand. What your seeing as a break in luster
    could be from the lighting..

Your probably right griv. PCGS shouldn't miss the grade by that much. I guess what I am seeing on the breast could be on the holder?

What I think is funny is that when you see such a small coin blown up so large, it makes everything huge! Dings/luster break/wear/her arms image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
