of multiple players and draft picks to Memphis for Paul Gasol.

With the acquisition of Gasol and with the expected return of Andrew Bynam, the Lakers will be able to play inside and outside and will have a strong interior defense. If the Laker's play well together the second half of the season, they may well challenge for the Western Conference regular season crown.

The players they gave up for him are fine ... but 2 1st rounders as well? I hope this works out for the best for the Lake show. With Boston "finally" much better I'd love to see a Boston v LA finals again this year and for many years to come.
Looking for a Glen Rice Inkredible and Alex Rodriguez cards

Geez, that's not fair. Only ONE team should benefit from a one-sided trade per season! image

    Yeah, your Nuggets are toast.
  • considering that the bulls had to offer luol deng, pj brown and their first round pick last year to get gasol (which reinsdorf ultimately backed off of), this was a good trade for the lakers since they didnt give up a whole lot in terms of actual talent (assuming they make the playoffs this year, making their 1st round pick this year not a lottery pick). i question the inclusion of javaris in the trade...the grizz already have conley (and even lowry, who's pretty good)...so, they dont need another project point guard.
