    What grades were you expecting?

You feel they were off by 1 or 2?

    Steve
    Good for you.

Those grades are all over the place. I'm confused.

    Steve
    Good for you.
  • First time submitting. If so, you are not going to want to send in those 5, 6 and 7's in the future:&gtimage

Last year I submitted a bunch from the same lot that these were from. Those came back mostly 7's and 8's. I had pulled out the cards all at the same time but couldn't afford to submit them all last year.....that's what hurts, I thought these were just as good as the one's I sent in last year.....as everyone is saying OUCH!! Guess I should just be glad that I had better luck last year. al.

That was pretty brutal. I can't help but feel for ya my man. Two other thoughts on this thread: how is it that Perkdog (yet again) with the quote replies to the post before the original statement is even seen..................thought # 2: When someone comes in here with 73 posts in 6 months questioning a veteran submitter asking if this was his first sub really dumbfounds me, maybe I am being too judgmental or trivial, but get to know some of the members here before showing everyone how naive you are. Better luck with your other sub!!!!
  • Uff Da.

Better luck with the current sub.

thanks everyone for the condolences.....hopefully the sub I have in now fairs better....it has a bunch of 1960 baseball and some 1956 Gum Adventure cards that I thought were worthy.....

and to answer the question, NO THIS ISN"T my first time submitting....been a PSA member for about eight years....only thing I can think of is that the grader(s) must have been more lenient when I sent the stuff in last year...or something happended to the cards since I last submitted....time to discuss with my kidsimagethey've been known to have what they call "accidents"....who knows maybe they dropped the stack unbenowst to me

maybe you cherry picked the best looking ones last sub, and the ones for this sub did not make the grade last tme, thus the lower grades..

Don't know Fandango...don't remember picking out the best last time but my memory is going slow but sure......needless to say I will be scoping out any new submissions real close from now on.

    Yikes!!!!!!!!!

I was beaten nearly to death on my last one, too.

My fault though, I guess. Micro-wrinkles, half the size of a pin-head.

I had a few more that I was going to submit from the lot I had pulled...out of the 40 or so left I whittled it down to about 5 cards being real selective....maybe I got too lax.....oh well win some lose someimageand it's time for one of these!!!
