How much of the super bowl pregame TV coverage do you watch?

Is it four or six hours on Sunday? Not sure, anyway in recent years I have avoided all Super Bowl pregame coverage and don't turn the
TV on until right at kickoff. Reason being is at that point I have read and seen everything I want to about the super bowl in the weeks
leading up to the game and on that day I want the game to just speak for itself.

Absolutely none, in fact I watch very little of the game. I probably will watch the first quarter and the last if its close then shut it off. It's the most overrated TV show in existence.
  • zip, zero.
  • I am going to pretty much watch it all...but not with full attention of course. Will have a little party and enjoy the game and pre-show concerts et al. Work has also forced me to miss the last 8-10 Super Bowls so this is cool with me.

Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
  • Usually about an hour just before game time. I avoid the half time crap by making more junk food to eat during the secind half.
  • Oh, there's a football game this weekend? Who's playing?
  • I work all day Sunday, starting at 5:00am, so it'll be on in the background during the day...I get done with work at 5:30pm. When I go home, I'll turn it on just before kick-off, which is what I normally do.

Seacrest is almost as bad to watch/listen to as Joe Buck is.

  • Barely any of it even when the Bucs are in it. It's a waste of time, in my opinion, to sit there and watch the same thing that has been said for the past week over and over again.

    That's just me though!
