We've added over 300 new coins to the website this month for your consideration. Many of these are new purchases from the F.U.N. show in Orlando, FL. Here's a quick breakdown of the new items:
Ancient: Over 170 new ancient coins are available. There is a nice selection of bronze and silver Egyptian coinage ranging from the Ptolmies through 3rd Century A.D. There are a number of new Roman Imperial and Roman Provincial coins, including a nice aureus of Trajan and several denarii of harder to find emperors and empresses. Several nice Greek silver and bronze coins made it as well, including a nice Sybaris piece.
Medieval: A handful of new English hammered and milled coins are available. The featured item is a goldgulden from 15th Century Germany.
U.S.: Ten new US coins were added, the most prominent of which is a pair of 1853 Large Cents in NGC MS-65 BN and MS-65 RB, two very beautiful coppers.
World: Nearly 100 new items have been added in this category. About a dozen new gold coins are available, and as we all know, gold is very hot right now. The featured item is a scarce 1891-A 5 Mark from Hesse-Darmstadt. Also look for a handful of nice Latin American crowns with Philippines YII and F7 countermarks.
