    arny,
congratulations. is saw his psa 10 rookie went for about 15k a few months ago. still no 1966 in a 9NQ. when that baby finally reaches a 9 watch out on those prices.

in addition to being a huge david brent and andy millman (are you having a laugh?) fan, i think tony perez was one of the most underated players in the modern era. he was the glue to the big red machine. a clutch rbi machine.

That's a player set I plan to take a run at, sometime in the future. All of his cards look good and he's a worthy choice, as a player and as a man. Nice work on the set.

    Thanks guys!

I will continue to upgrade (I've already got my eye on a couple more from MCholke! image

It's a great feeling getting to 100%....no matter the size of the set! I think that once I hit 100% on my '84 Donruss (as soon as this stinkin' sub pops! image ), then that'll be a spectacular feeling! Been working on that thing for about four to five years now.

    Thanks again everyone!

    Arny,
Congratulations. Perez was an unsung hero of those 70s Reds teams.

    I agree! image

But, I'm even happier with the '84 Donruss because it's not only an upgrade on this Tony Perez set, but also on my '84 Donruss set as well! image

Congratulations on your accomplishment!!! Perez has a great run of very nice looking cards.

I would also like to thank Kevin in helping me out with some harder to find Perez cards. We have traded on several occasions in the past and he is one of the best to deal with.

Doggie never looks quite right in anything but Reds' colors, but...that classic Red Sox uniform comes closer than anything else, to my eyes.

I really liked that he and Fisk went into the Hall of Fame together and that Pudge mentioned in his initial news conference how much he'd enjoy being inducted along with a respected former teammate.
