What's my Job?

One of you guys got me into this set on the thread with various non-sports pics. So I went to a card show Saturday and Scottsdale BB cards had some. But I only found 3 that fit my needs. Does anyone have any of these for sale? I'm looking for well centered cards. But, I don't think I'm in the market for a 10 right now. Raw would be great too.

I know very little about this set. I only know that I find them somewhat amusing and that I love the style and artwork. Any knowledge you can share is appreciated.

Thanks

  • Boy oh boy. I don't know what the deal is. What set are you talking about?

Also, are you talking about the Camelback monthly show in Scottsdale?

That's my real job. I'm just talking about the set. Here is a guy with a few in his e-bay store. Link Each card has a ridiculous picture and there is a Job listed on the back.

The show was the Hollywood Park show here in Los Angeles. The dealer I am talking about is this guy. Link The prices on the site seem high, but in person he always takes some off the price without asking.

  • 1965 Leaf Set. Not sure as to how many in the set. Uncle' Paul, botts? and 4SC have them every now and then for sale on Ebay graded. The prices you show from Scottsdale cards are about going rate on ebay when and if they come up. I've never seen wax packs from them and very few have been graded by PSA. That's about all I know. BTW Gold Digger is one of the best from the set...
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?
